Protect PWC with Responsible Land Use.

Our Mission

Protect Open Space for Future Generations

We want to ensure that future generations of PWC residents can continue enjoy outdoor activities and learn about the natural environment.

Prevent Overcrowding In Schools

Many of our Schools schools are overcrowded and research indicates that this negatively impacts our children by reducing academic achievement. Overcrowding is especially harmful for children with with IEPs and children from underprivileged backgrounds. Our teachers also suffer from overcrowded classrooms. Excessive class sizes worsen burnout and increase attrition among our teachers.

Preserve Natural Resources and The Local Environment

The county needs to do more to protect our natural resources. We need to protect our water quality and air quality by promoting responsible land use. We want to protect our waterways by encouraging responsible growth that minimizes the disturbance of water resources and prevents excessive impervious surfaces.

Encourage Fiscally Responsible Development

The average homeowner pays almost $5,000 in property taxes each year! We want to Protect PWC residents from tax increases by encouraging smart development. Growth should pay for growth and new development should improve the fiscal position of PWC.

Protect Public Health

We want to improve public health by encouraging harmonious and sustainable development. High intensity industrial development should not be placed near residential areas or our schools.
